Although Irene has enjoyed taking pictures all of her life, the idea of being an artist in photography never
occurred to her until November 2005. While attending a seminar and completing one of the goal setting/dream
expanding exercises; her pen wrote have a gallery to showcase my photography. From that one line evolved
the birthday celebration concept and everything started coming together.
Having been raised in a family where her mothers primary focus was art and visits to art shows and galleries
were common place, Irene developed a slight aversion to art. So you can imagine her surprise at being
prompted to promote her photography.
In addition to being exposed to all kinds of art from a very young age, Irene also attended art classes with
her mother at the age of four, studying under Art Landy along side the other adults.
Irene inherited the photographic bug from her father and from her mother learned to look for the beauty in
even the ugliest and oddest places. She also inherited her fathers sense for numbers and has been using her
left brain for the past 40 years in various areas of the world of finance.
Its exciting to see the right brain gaining equal time -- its about time. All of Irenes photos have been
captured in their true form without computer manipulation. Enjoy what you see.
